WH40k Nurgle Army

This part of the site isn't really active yet, because I've made no progress in assembling and painting my army. If you've been pointed here, you probably want to know about the full range of past and present Nurgle models. That set of pages is full of pictures and useful information.

This project log documents the creation and use of my current army of miniatures for the Warhammer 40,000 wargame.

In broad overview it is a Death Guard army, consisting of Chaos Space Marines and Daemons dedicated to the Chaos God Nurgle. It is mainly an infantry force, and I have gone to great lengths to ensure that each model is characterful and unique so that it will look good on a gaming table.

• Design principles: in which I expound upon the constraints I have set myself in creating this army, and the plans I hope to see to fruition.
• Current progress: keeping track of how far through the modelling and painting I've reached. Sadly not far. I have many other things going on in my life. :-)
• Army description: details of individual units that make up the army, in terms of the models, their game mechanics, and their fictional backstory.

Particular thanks go to Chris Lloyd, Paul Rhodes, and the happy folk at Papa Nurgle's Pestilent Pus-Pit. All of them have pushed me to get this army together and complete it to a playable standard. Without their continued berating I would never have got it to this stage. :-)
